City Post Chophouse began its story in the 1930s as a U.S. Post Office in the midst of the Great Depression and Prohibition. Nearly a century later, the beautifully renovated historic building hosts guests for finer dining, live music, and private events.
Refined steakhouse, oyster bar, and butcher shop, with a special events venue located on the second level.
Classy but never pretentious, appropriate attire at City Post Chophouse is "Texas formal" (casual elegant). Collared shirts and closed-toe shoes for men are recommended.
Ball caps, workout wear, flip-flops, and sweatshirts/hoodies are prohibited in the
dining room.
